Problems installing from a network

Postby Exaga » Tue Apr 02 2013 - 21:56:58

laprjns pointed out that he's getting a failure when trying to install Slackware ARM. The failure occurred after package selection right before the main install takes place. We did some testing and found there was an error which seemed to indicate that there were no mounted partitions, or source directory selected, when trying to install from a network.

This has now been fixed in the latest installer image update. For those who may be experiencing problems installing from a network, the solution is to type the following command before starting setup :

root@slackware:~# export TERM=linux

()'`; /
/\|` W00f W00f W00f
